Are you a Sauvignon Blanc lover? If so, it’s time to try the Innocent Bystander, coming out of Marlborough, New Zealand. On my recent tasting of their 2016 vintage, I found it to be very inviting and aromatic with notes of grapefruit, peach, kiwi, grass, and minerals. It’s dry, complex and not too acidic with a long, lingering finish. The mouth feel is abundant at 13% alcohol and the color is a lovely pale lemon, straw. At around $11 per bottle it’s an excellent buy that I would recommend.
